We recently changed translation pack acceptance policy to a more optimistic policy, and we may include all non-controversial translation packs in our archive if we receive no objection from its license holder. Our current translation pack archive has about 40 items and we plan to extend this to ~80 translation packs in the near future, before this Ramadan, inshaAllah. We still plan to extend our recitation set, specially translation recitations (currently we have Ibrahim Walk's English recitation based on Sahih/Saheeh International translation). ![]() With help of our brothers and verse-by-verse Qur'an projects, we were able to provide about 20 new offline recitations in different bitrates, sizes and qualities, from ~400MB to +1.6GB packages. Making Zekr portable is a matter of adding a command line to it, so users of Zekr on other platforms can also make their Zekr portable. This portable version works both 32 and 64 bit Windows machines. Having this they should not worry whether they already have Java installed or not. We provided a portable version of Zekr for the first time, including Java (JRE) for our end users. The earliest records pertaining to the Museum's Zero show that it was evaluated in 1944 at Wright Field, Ohio, and the following year at Eglin Field, Florida.Zekr 1.0.0, released with many new featuresĪlhamdulillah, we finally released Zekr 1.0.0 ( Download) this Ramadan, after over 5 years from our initial version (0.1.0). Navy personnel removed 12 late-model Zeros from the island and sent them to the United States for evaluation. We believe the A6M5 Zero Model 52 on display in the National Air and Space Museum came from a group of Japanese aircraft captured on Saipan Island in April 1944. Combat trials began in China during July 1940 and by fall, Zero pilots felled nearly 100 Chinese aircraft for the loss of only two Zeros to friendly fire. Design work began in 1937 when the Japanese Navy staff directed Mitsubishi and Nakajima to submit proposals for a new aircraft to replace the Mitsubishi A5M carrier fighter (Allied codename CLAUDE). The two companies built more than 10,000 Zeros between March 1939 and August 1945. Mitsubishi designed the Zero fighter but co-produced the airplane with Nakajima. Zekr provides Quran translations, recitation, search and other features to study Holy Quran. It's designed to ease access to the most authentic and valuable text of Muslims. No other aircraft surpasses the Mitsubishi A6M Reisen ("ree-sin," Japanese for Zero Fighter) as the symbol of Japanese air power during World War II. Zekr is an open source Quran study software for Windows, Linux and Mac.
